This ad went out when footage of former Rugby Captain, Joost van der Westhuizen, surfaced. The video revealed Joost engaging in sex play with a woman that was not his wife.

This particular ad was released within hours of Dennis Hanekom delivering his verdict that Julius Malema was guilty of sewing seeds of division within the ANC, bringing the party into disrepute and propagating racism and political intolerance. He was subsequently suspended from the ANC.

By the time Vodacom was done spending millions and millions making the public aware that "Vodacom is red", it is unlikely that there was anyone in South Africa unaware of this fact. Amidst all the Vodacom hype, we did this single ad. It received a lot of attention.

This particular ad came shortly after our Last Dictator Standing TV ad which aired in November 2011. The commercial featured Robert Mugabe reminiscing about the good old days with other dictators. The ad caused a lot of hype and there was talk about which dictator would be the next to fall. It just so happened that Kim Jong Il died on 17 December 2011. Tweets went flying about, playfully accusing Nando's of the demise of this tyrant. This ad was the retort from Nando's.

This particular ad was a result of another verbal blunder by DA leader, Helen Zille. She called Eastern Cape students refugees.

This ad went live on President Zuma's 70th birthday. It paid tribute to the president and acknowledged that while he may be getting older, there is still a fiery spirit burning in him. A spirit as hot as our Extra-Hot Peri-Peri chicken.
